Faye Phillips, age 82, departed this life in July 2026.
LIFE
Born July 13, 1944, Faye was the daughter of Jay and Reba Foster. She graduated from Robbins School and worked at Scott County Hospital. She had a kind and pure heart and will be greatly missed.

Tommy Joel Newport, age 86, departed this life on July 15, 2026.
LIFE
Born January 12, 1940, Joel was the son of Lawrence and Ina Lee Dyer Newport. He was a member of Winona Baptist Church. He was a retired logger who took great pride in his work. He was also well known for his fruit and vegetable stand, where he enjoyed visiting with friends and customers over the years. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for politics, generous heart and devotion to his family and friends.
